Wilma J Peeples, 37 years of age, from Chicago, IL has been arrested by the Wisconsin State
Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st offense, with three
children in the vehicle under the age of 16.
On Sunday, September 29, 2024, at approximately 10:57 AM a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper
stopped a vehicle on I-94 eastbound near milepost 76 for a speed violation.
The Trooper observed signs of impairment and a subsequent investigation, showed the driver,
Wilma J Peeples from Chicago, IL, was operating the motor vehicle while under the influence of a
controlled substance 1st offense with minor passengers. Ms. Peeples was arrested and transported
to Mayo Hospital in Eau Claire for an evidentiary test of her blood. The children ages 10, 10, and 9
were released to a responsible adult.
