(Waukesha, WI) — Waukesha police are investigating allegations of child abuse at the Lawrence School. Police say they received a report earlier this week and that led to the execution of a search warrant Wednesday morning. Police tell W-I-S-N/T-V they don’t believe the abuse is widespread at the school but it might involve more than one staff member. Parents got an email Wednesday morning from the school’s daycare saying it had to close and they needed to pick up their children. A police spokesperson says evidence is still being collected.
