The Wisconsin DNR says the city of Eau Claire is an applicant for funding through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) to improve its public drinking water system, which includes the treatment for PFAS. Funding has been approved, after a Federally required environmental review. The public is still encouraged to submit comments, to the DNR, regarding the potential environmental impacts of this project by October 13th.
