Clayton C. Pischke, 70, of Warrens, died on Sunday, September 11, 2022. On July 21, 1952, Clayton was born to Clifford and Beverly Pischke in Racine County, Wisconsin. In 1969, Clayton graduated from Union Grove High School, making him the first in his family to do so. Shortly after graduating from high school, Clayton was drafted into the U.S. Navy and would go on to proudly serve in the Philippines. On October 27, 1978, Clayton was united in marriage to Marianne Vance in Racine. The couple would spend the next 25 years in wedded bliss until Marianne preceded Clayton in death on March 30, 2004. In September 2000, the couple relocated to Willow Lake, South Dakota. It wasn’t until 2014 that Clayton moved and settled in Necedah, Wisconsin. He worked as a carpenter and mechanic by trade, and also worked for Roh Construction and Mayfield Truss LLC, before retiring in late 2014. Being an avid outdoorsman, Clayton enjoyed spending his free time in nature, and considered himself an accomplished deer hunter and fisherman. On the weekends, Clayton could be found throwing darts at his local pub and was often referred to as the “MVP” of his dart league. He was grateful for his good friend and neighbor Mark Thoma, in which Clayton valued the relationship they had. Clayton will be remembered for his driven, dedicated, and loving demeanor. He will be deeply missed by all that had the honor of knowing and loving him.
Clayton is survived by his daughter, Dawn (Nick) Mulcahy, of Neillsville; his grandchildren: Brittany Pischke, Brent Scholze, and Danielle Bobak; his great-grandchildren: Teigyn Osmond, Arian Osmond, and Stella Scholze; his siblings: Richard (Kitty) Pischke and Kimberly (Kenneth) South; a dear friend and neighbor, and many other family and friends.
Clayton is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 25 years, Marianne Pischke; his son, Daniel Pischke; his parents, Clifford and Beverly Pischke; a sister, Eva Bernal; and his brothers: Roger Pischke, William Pischke, and Keith Pischke.
A Graveside Service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 1:30 P.M. at the Wyeville Cemetery, State Highway 21 & Evergreen Avenue. Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be sent to
