Clinton E. Sanwald, 64, of Tomah passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at his home. He was born on May 16, 1959, to Jesse and Dolly (Richer) Sanwald. Throughout the years, Clinton did odd jobs here and there. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on race cars or demo cars.
He will be remembered for his insatiable sense of humor and his ability to make friends with anyone he came in contact with. He cared tremendously for those around him and would do anything it took to make others laugh and smile.
He is survived by his children, Jesse (Amber) Sanwald, Clinton (Shannon) Sanwald Jr., Shane, Matt (Steffie), Josh, and Amber all of Tomah. Grandchildren, Jai, Hayden, Tristan, Jason, Hazel and Callie.He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Eugene Sanwald, Susan Sanwald, Betty Lou Sanwald, Loretta Babcock and sister-in-law, Lori Sanwald.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023, from 4PM until 6PM at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St, Tomah. A private family graveside committal service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Mather. Online condolences can be offered by visiting www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com.
