Corliss Spangberg Sharf, born December 6, 1947, passed away after a brief illness on January
29, 2022.
Corliss graduated from Eleva-Strum Area High School, then attended University of Wisconsin.
She was an avid traveler and explorer, having relocated first to San Francisco then New York.
She traveled the United States and most of Europe. She brought an infectious enthusiasm to all
she met and will be remembered with love.
Corliss was a loving wife to Charles, they celebrated 33 years of marriage in June. She is also
survived by her children, Jennifer and Deborah, grandchildren, Daniel, David, Max and
Savannah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Ruby, and her brother Chris.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday May 14, 2022 at West Beef River Cemetery in
rural Strum, WI. A luncheon and continued fellowship to follow the burial at Immanuel
Lutheran Church hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Kidney Fund or Immanuel Lutheran Church in
The Torgerson Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
