Darlene Joy (Fauska) Johnson, 75, of Black River Falls, WI passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at home surrounded by love.

She born on August 6, 1949, to Robert and Aila (Schindler) Fauska at St. Mary’s Hospital in Sparta. She graduated from Royal High School in 1967.

Darlene was baptized, confirmed, and later married at St. Paul’s Church in Wilton, WI. In 1974, she married Clifford “Chief” Johnson. Together they had three children, April, Craig, and Brad. They farmed side by side instilling the love of the land in their children.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Brad.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Clifford, daughter, April (Travis) Schnur and son, Craig (Jeri Lynn) Johnson, grandchildren, Jordan (Becky) Schnur, Miranda (Mark Upton) Schnur, Kaitlyn and Levi Johnson, step-grandchildren, Avie and Bennett Stankey, great-grandchildren, Vidalia, Adelida, Amos, and Elvira Schnur, Birklee, Brian, and Oaklee Ley, sister, Ruth Ann Guy, along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Darlene will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Little Norway Church in Black River Falls. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Torgerson’s Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
