Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection Secretary Randy Romanski has received the Honorary American FFA Degree at the 98th National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis.

The award recognizes individuals who make outstanding, long-term contributions to agricultural education and to the FFA organization.

Romanski said he’s proud to support young people in agriculture, noting programs like the Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council, now in its sixth year, help connect students with industry leaders and career opportunities.

The FFA is a national youth organization focused on developing leadership and agricultural skills through hands-on education.
