Whitewater Police are seeking any information that may assist in the investigation of the death of a newborn child. On Saturday, Whitewater Police and EMS services were called to the Twin Oaks Mobile Home Park after receiving a call about a deceased newborn found in a field. If you have heard anything about the case, you are urged to contact you nearest Law Enforcement Agency. If you would like to remain anonymous, please use the tip line at P3Tips.com.. The death is under investigation and no more information will be given at this time. 
The Whitewater Police Department posted this News Release on their Facebook page and reminded all that parents can relinquish custody of infants under 72 hours old to Law enforcement, EMS or hospital staff without any fear of legal consequences under the “Safe Haven Law” that was created for just such tragedies.
