Dorothy Ann Leque, age 74, of Blair, died on Friday, August 28, 2026 in the
Pigeon Falls Health Care Center in Pigeon Falls surrounded by family.
Dorothy was born on October 12, 1951 in Whitehall to Lyle and Ida (Johnson)
Neitzke. She married Jerry L. Leque on February 7, 1970 in Blair. Jerry
preceded Dorothy in death on February 16, 2009.
Dorothy worked 17 years at the Trempealeau County Health Care Center as a
cook and enjoyed working 20 plus years as a waitress and cook at the City Café.
Dorothy was a hard worker who cherished many of the friendships she made at
her jobs over the years.
Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family playing board games, baking,
diamond painting, cooking, watching the Green Bay Packers, going for car rides
and shaking dice. She enjoyed attending all of her grandchildren and great-
grandchildren’s sporting events. Dorothy was the kind of person that would do
anything for the people she loved.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Jerry (Jamie) Leque II; her daughter, Rhonda
(Rick) Obieglo; seven grandchildren, Jerry (Shannon) Leque III, Tiffany
(Jonathan) Graff, Brett (Tayea) Leque, Stephanie (Logan) Dahl, Cheyenne (Rob)
Nye, Madison (Mike) Anderson and Kyle (Aelyse Werner) Obieglo; nine great-
grandchildren, Addelynn, Tucker, Hazely, Jocelyn, Selene, Jerry IV, Hadley,
Kinsley and Natalie; eight brothers and sisters, Shirley Severson, Donna
Lindberg, Nancy (Dennis) Lyngen, John (Connie) Neitzke, Betty Neitzke, Jackie
(Larry) Ball, Jeff (Pam) Neitzke and Diane (Mark) Herried.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her
two brothers, Jerome (Barbara) Neitzke and Randy Neitzke
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in
Blair Lutheran Church West (Zion) with burial in the Rest Haven Cemetery both
in Blair. Pastor Chris Sesvold will officiate.
Visitation will be Friday, September 4, 2026 from 4-7 p.m. in the Jack Funeral
Home in Blair and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
