(Eau Claire, WI) — Eau Claire’s school board is being asked to support the push for a universal free school lunch program in Wisconsin. The school board will vote on the idea tonight. It’s one of several resolutions that the Wisconsin Association of School Boards is asking local schools to support. There is no word just what it would cost to feed every school kid in Wisconsin for free, or just where that money would come from.
