A 24-year-old Elk Mound man has been arrested following an impaired driving investigation in Dunn County. The Wisconsin State Patrol says Thomas Daniel Hager was stopped on North Holly Avenue in the Village of Elk Mound for seat belt and vehicle equipment violations. Troopers say the driver showed signs of impairment, and field sobriety tests indicated he was operating while under the influence. Authorities say a child under the age of 16 was in the vehicle at the time. Hager was taken to a local hospital for a legal blood draw before being booked into the Dunn County Jail. He faces charges of first-offense OWI with a minor passenger, possession of drug paraphernalia, and bail jumping.
