Ernest (Ernie) H. Vold, 91, died Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Mayo Health System – Oakridge.
Ernie was born January 9, 1932, to Helmer and Emelia Vold on the home farm in the town of Hale and
was the oldest of seven children. He married Marjory Larson on September 19, 1959.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years; son Mark (Molly); daughter Debra; son-in-law Mike; grandchildren
Erik (Sarah), Kjerstin (Molly), Peder, Kayla, and Zachary; great-grandchildren Severin, Mara, Lennon, and
Julius; brother Vernon (Helen); and sisters Shirley, Kim (Jay), and Karen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Cynthia; brothers Maynard and Raymond; and niece
Bethany.
