Eugene Dennis Windsor, age 75, died Saturday July 15, 2023 at Black River Memorial Hospital,
surrounded by his loving family and caregivers.
Eugene was born July 25, 1947 in Beloit WI to Leslie and Charlotte (Mallard) Windsor. Eugene attended
high school then soon found gainful employment working for a paper manufacturer. He stayed with the
Beloit Corporation until retiring after 34 years of service.
He enjoyed traveling and vacationing with his wife Geraldine. He was an avid cane pole fisherman prior
to his limiting disabilities. Those did not affect his love for football however as he was a Washington
Redskins fanatic. He enjoyed collecting football and baseball cards, hats and coins. And Eugene loved
company to play cards with, or to share the joys of bird watching with.
Eugene is survived by his wife Geraldine (Konkol); his sons Dennis, David and Dan; his siblings Joan
(Windell) Cunningham, Violet (Robert) Curtis, Janet (Jim) Wright, Larry Windsor; Sister-in Law Phyllis
Windsor and numerous step-children, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Charlotte; his siblings Carol (Sam) Hills, Roger
Windsor, and Danny (Margie) Windsor; and sister-in-law Cathy Windsor.
A graveside service and ‘Celebration of Eugene’s Life’ will take place at Floral Lawns Cemetery in South
Beloit, at a date and time yet to be determined but will be announced.
The Buswell Funeral Home, 106 S. Second Street, in Black River Falls WI is assisting the family with
