A Thursday night fire in the rural Monroe County town of Little Falls…that’s between Melrose and Cataract…has left four children dead. The Sparta Area Fire District says a house was reported on fire just after 9 p-m with people inside. Firefighters were unable to get through the heat, flames, and smoke to try and rescue those inside. The parents and two other children survived. No names have been released.
