Lincoln Jr/Sr High School FCCLA (Family, Career, Community Leaders of America) members are hard at work perfecting their STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) projects for the upcoming National Leadership Conference in Seattle, WA, that will take place this summer at the end of June.

Five individual projects are moving on including Jaida Clark, Kami Staszak, Kielyn Rowekamp, Lizette Lopez, and Alyx Forsting. We also have 4 team events moving on the teams of Maddy Rauss, Marlee Winchell, and Agnes Rodriguez; Emerick LaBar and Hunter Staszak; Amelia Turk and Morgan Grant; and Anahy Villagomez and Mikaela Wagner. We also would like to congratulate the individuals who did not qualify for nationals but did great at state, Jacqueline Gill, Ava Hoffman, and Maya Johnson.

To offset the costs of this experience, these FCCLA members are participating in numerous fundraising activities. FCCLA fundraising activities currently include a garage sale, car wash, and bake sale during the Alma Center Garage Sale Weekend, May 3-4. Members will also be hosting a Pizza night at the Inwood in Hatfield on June 5th.

Be on the lookout for additional activities helping support the Lincoln FCCLA. Any support is appreciated to help send these FCCLA National qualifiers to Seattle. Monetary donations can be sent to Lincoln Jr/Sr High School, at 124 S. School St, Alma Center, WI 54611. Please make checks payable to Lincoln FCCLA.

Congratulations to these fourteen FCCLA National qualifiers representing the State of Wisconsin!
