Golden Sands Resource Conservation
& Development Council, Inc. (Golden Sands RC&D) in
partnership with GrassWorks, Inc. is excited to host a free
financial planning series for farmers this February a
March. Weekly 2-hour sessions will be held online and/or
at our downtown Stevens Point office from Feb 12th
March 26th.
Whether you are interested in exploring the financi
potential of livestock in a managed grazing operation or
looking to fine tune the finances of your current gra
operation, this series is for you! Topics to be covered
include developing a business plan, lending, decision support
tools such as the Pasture Based Enterprise Calculator, cash
flow planning, investment analysis, recordkeeping, profitabil
& more.
The kick-off for this series is being held in collaboration with
the Central WI Graziers Network Winter Meeting with guest
speaker Serge Koenig of Sauk County Land Resources & Environment Department.
Serge, the recipient of the 2025 Jerold Berg Grazing Advocate Award, will be sharing his
perspective on the financial vitality of a managed grazing operation. A warm me
