The City of Black River Falls’ Committee of the Whole met Wednesday night. Administrator Brad Chown says no citizens were in attendance and there were no updates on the County Jail/Justice Center Project. Parks and Recreation Director, Jared Meyer, said the Hoffman Aquatic Center is on track to open after school lets out, adding that the drainage grates in the pool can be replaced at the end of the season. Meyer says the slides passed inspection and officials plan to begin filling the pool Monday. Committee members approved nearly $650 thousand dollars in vouchers, along with the Treasurer and Revenue and Expense reports and adjourned by 6:30.
