Do you hear the kids and parents cheering? It was the sound of excitement, Wednesday, as Black River Falls Parks and Recreation Director, Jared Meyer, announced the opening of the Hoffman Aquatic Center. The City is thrilled to officially open the pool’s doors for the 2024 season this Saturday (6/29). Earlier this month, officials announced the pool would remain closed for a second season, after it was discovered a leak was losing nearly 20-thousand gallons of water a day. Meyer recognized the city’s dedicated crews working hard over the past three weeks. He says all water features are up and running smoothly…and ensures a fantastic experience for all visitors with body slides and tube slides. The Hoffman Aquatic Center is fully staffed and ready to open Saturday. It’s located in the Lunda Community Park, near the Black River Falls High School.
