A convicted felon from Illinois was arrested Friday night in Osseo. According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy tried to stop Darnell P. Davis of South Elgin, Illinois, for speeding on I-94…just before 10-o’clock. Davis left the interstate, failed to yield, and accelerated away from the deputy entering a private parking lot where he lost control and crashed into a parked semi. He was treated for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital and then arrested. Investigators found active warrants for Davis’ arrest as well as a firearm inside his vehicle. He’s currently being held in the Trempealeau County Jail on multiple charges.
