Jackson County (JC) has teamed up with Mississippi River Regional Planning Commission (MRRPC) to produce the next JC Outdoor Recreation Plan. To best inform this plan, the public is asked to complete the JC Outdoor Recreation Survey. JC and MRRPC are also asking that all stakeholders who enjoy the JC outdoor recreation amenities complete the survey. The survey is open to anyone who enjoys Jackson County Outdoor Recreation activities and areas … not just JC residents or the MRRPC territory. Please encourage as many of your colleagues and friends, neighbors, relatives and generally the people you know to fill out the survey.
This survey is open to ANYONE who enjoys and appreciates Jackson County Outdoor Recreation services — even if you dip your toe into Lake Wazee once a year; have visited Lee Lake in Millston; the Christmas Tree Festival in Merrillan; Strawberry Festival in Alma Center; or River Park UTV Trailhead in Taylor. Either way, your input is needed to find out what you enjoy about all of Jackson County’s great Outdoor Recreation opportunities!

The survey will be open until April 17th when first review of the results will occur.
This survey will guide the vision for the future of Outdoor Recreation and resource partnerships into the next decade and beyond. The purpose of the JC Outdoor Recreation Plan is to assist with future expansion projects and grant opportunities as they become available from Federal, State and local partners.
