Have you gotten your flu vaccine this season? If not, now’s the time.
CDC recommends a yearly flu vaccine as the first and most important step in protecting against
influenza and its potentially serious complications.
Jackson County Public Health will be offering flu vaccine for all ages. Flu mist will also be
available for children ages 2-18. Flu shots for adults are $35.00 and free to any child age 18 or
under. Flu vaccine clinics will be held at the Jackson County Health and Human Services
Building in the Public Health Department on the following dates and times:

 Tuesday, October 17 th 3:30-4:30
 Monday, October 23 rd 3:30-4:30
 Monday, October 30 th all day
 Tuesday, November 21 st all day

Jackson County Public Health will also be offering community-based flu vaccine clinics for all
ages. Flu shots for adults are $35.00 and free to any child under the age of 19. Flu mist will also
be available for children ages 2-18. Parents will need to accompany their child or fill out a
consent form prior to the event and send with their child. Flu vaccine clinic location, date and
times are as follows:

 Black River Falls School and Community, Wed. Oct. 18, 2023
2:30-6:30pm at the BRF High School Commons
 Melrose/Mindoro School and Community, Wed. Oct. 25, 2023

3:00-5:30pm at the Melrose/Mindoro Elementary School Commons
