The Jackson County Historical Society invites the public to “Undertaking the Wisconsin Death Trip – A Halloween Wake” in Black River Falls. The event recreates a turn-of-the-century funeral parlor, complete with early 1900s artifacts and a program on the history of undertaking and the famed Wisconsin Death Trip. It all wraps up with a showing of the Wisconsin Death Trip documentary.
You can attend today from 2:30 to 4:30 or this Thursday evening, October 30th, from 6 to 8 at the History and Research Center on South 1st Street in Black River Falls. Admission is by freewill donation, and refreshments will be served.
