John C. Kast, 78, of Cashton, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the VA Medical Center in Tomah, WI after suffering from Parkinson’s Disease for several years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cashton, WI. Father Matthew Bowe will officiate. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, rural Cashton. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a rosary beginning at 3:30 p.m., at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Cashton. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Cashton is assisting the family with arrangements.
