John “Jack” J. Lambert, Sr., 95, died on September 2, 2026.
He was born on November 29, 1930, in Arcadia to Mary (Jankowski) and Joe Lambert.
He attended Arcadia Area School and worked as a hired hand for local farmers. On
June 6, 1951, he married Betty Grulkowski in St. Boniface Church in Waumandee, WI.
After marrying, they ran a successful farming operation near Dodge/Pine Creek. In
1982, Jack Lambert and Sons, John, Scott, Tom and Ross were recognized with the
FFA Outstanding Farmer Award. He also did custom combining for many area farmers.
Jack created a lasting farming legacy for his family that spans four generations. After
retirement, Jack and Betty spent their winters in Mesa, AZ. Jack will be remembered for
his love of dancing, popcorn, grilled chicken, gardening (and sharing with his family his
surplus veggies), and the Hooey Hooey stick. Jack was the life of the party.
He is survived by his wife Betty of 75 years; four sons, John (Diane), Scott (Nancee
Quinn), Tom (Michaelynn) and Ross (Rose); eleven grandchildren, Bob (Cindy)
Lambert, Mike Lambert, Melissa (Tim) Fitzpatrick, Jen Saari, Zach (Maureen
Muthemba), Clint (Janie) Lambert, Corrinne (Patrick) Gore; Amanda (Matt) Molback;
Cole (Katherine) Lambert, Andrea (Derek) Robinson and Lexie (Brandon) Boynton; and
27 great-grandchildren, Dresden (Kyla), Paris, Dawson, Deklen Lambert; Isabella
Lambert; Hunter and Kiley Fitzpatrick; Kyra Saari; Cowan, Layla, Mina, and Jack
Lambert; Brynn and Logan Lambert; Kinsley, Evan, and Dominic Gore; Veronica,
Thomas, and Joanna Molback; Nolan Lambert; Elliot, Lily and Emma Robinson and
Weston, Violet and Cami Boynton. He is survived by two sisters, Beverly Peters and
Joan Hafermann, both of Wisconsin Rapids and brother Daniel from Texas and special
family friends, Howard (Judy) Barth and Anis Lambert.
He was preceded in death by his son Rick in 1970, and a sister Marie Martine.
Honorary pallbearers will be his 11 grandchildren, Bob and Mike Lambert, Melissa
Fitzpatrick, Jen Saari, Zach and Clint Lambert, Corrinne Gore, Amanda Molback, Cole
Lambert, Andrea Robinson and Lexie Boynton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4 PM on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Sacred
Heart Catholic Parish in Pine Creek with Father Kyle Laylan officiating. Family and
friends are welcome for visitation from 2 PM to 4 PM prior to Mass at church. Burial will
be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sacred
