Joshua Fransisco Hernandez, 25, of Arcadia died unexpectedly from injuries sustained in a car accident
on Sunday, October 22, 2023.
Josh was born in southern California on February 27, 1998, to Fransisco Hernandez-Beltran and Lilian
Caballero. His family moved to Arcadia when Josh entered Kindergarten. In school, Josh excelled in
soccer and wrestling. After graduating from high school, Josh followed his passion of mechanics and
worked for Nels-Gundersen Chevrolet. Josh loved his job and the people he worked for, considering
each one of his coworkers “family”. In his spare time, Josh loved to hunt, fish, drag race, work on his
Infinity and Ford F-150, and attend car shows. Most of all, his heart belonged to his family and his boys:
Devon and Liam. He was a life-time Dallas Cowboy fan, and was able to attend a game at AT&T Stadium.
He had a heart of gold and a smile that could light up a room, that will forever be cherished and missed
by his loved ones.
Josh is survived by his fiancé: Savannah Myers; sons: Devon and Liam; mother: Lilian Caballero; father:
Fransisco Hernandez-Beltran; step-father: Alfonzo Gutierrez; brother: Jorge (Melissa) Hernandez, twin
brother: Fransisco (fiancé, Samantha) Hernandez; Asaf and Christofer Hernandez; sister: Melissa
(boyfriend: Dalton); nieces and nephews: Isaac, Isaiah, Sophia, Adalia, and Armando; and numerous
other relatives, friends and coworkers.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
