A life long Western Wisconsin resident, Larinna Chandler was born in Viroqua and raised in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. She is a multi-faceted woman with varying career interests and talents. Whether it was being an executive office manager, marketing assistant, or reporter, Larinna continues pushing her limits to experience new things. Working as an On Air Personality at WWIS is just an extension of her very creative soul and her riotous curls!

Her constant, true love, besides her husband Curtis, has always been writing. Larinna started crafting tales and stories at an early age and has since published four novels; Running to Never, Last Promise of Yesterday (book 1 of 3), Fairelle and the Palace of the Gods and Murray and Angel-Unfenced. She has two more books coming, Last Promise of Today to be published this December, and Last Promise of Tomorrow to finish the Last Promise Trilogy coming in mid 2023. She has also published several poems and has been named Poet of the Year more than once at poetry.com. In 2021, she and three teens started their own publishing company: Yellowfeather Press LLC.

Larinna is a loving mother of Gabriel, Matsu and Asuka, devoted wife of Curtis, pet parent of a Blue Heeler named “The Doorbell” and one loving, but obnoxious cat named “Professor Pudgems” and is proud member of the Ho-Chunk Nation. She believes in the power of a strong mindset and that we all have the ability to change our stars.
