The Black River Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the results of its 2026 Board of Directors election, and excitement is running high as five new leaders prepare to step into their roles. Elected to three-year terms are Amanda Karu-Skar, Brad Dobbs, Brianne Massman, Laura Lindow, and Melissa Porter. The Chamber says these incoming directors will bring fresh energy as they work to build business, strengthen community connections, and promote tourism throughout the region.

They join the full 2026 Board of Directors, which also includes Amy Bloczynski, Crystal Byrns, Jarod Meyer, Jordan Nortman, Justin Dougherty, Melissa Lechner, Miranda Chandler, and Nancy Stevens.

Chamber leaders are extending heartfelt thanks to all members who ran in this year’s election, noting that the organization’s strength comes from the dedication of its volunteers. While Board seats are limited, members will have plenty of opportunities to get involved in committees such as Ambassadors and Special Events in the year ahead. More information will be shared with members after the new year.
