Loren James Rave, aged 68, of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025, at
Meadowbrook Nursing Home in his hometown. Born on March 4, 1956, in Black River Falls, WI to Duncan and
Rhoda Rave Sr.
 Loren was a jack of all trades- he held various positions throughout his life, with a notable tenure at the Ho-
Chunk Gaming Casino. Beyond his professional life, Loren spent time riding his bicycle, playing basketball,
softball, and baseball, and he was an avid Packers fan. His love for sports was only matched by his passion for
being a homebody. Loren found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as cooking and cleaning for whomever
was in his surroundings. He was the first to make sure everyone was taken care of. Above all, Loren will be
remembered fondly as the fun dad that he was.
 He is lovingly remembered by his children: sons John, Peter, and Anthony Rave; daughter, Desia Tallmadge;
and his cherished sister, Valerie. His memory will be treasured by his adoring grandchildren Avery, Charlotte,
Katherine, Abbie, Hazel, Harper, Luna, Jesus, James, Tonantzin, Manape, and Tyrell.
 Loren was preceded in death by his parents, Duncan and Rhoda Rave Sr.; his brothers, Meredith, Reuben
Sr., Maynard Sr., and Brian; and his sisters, Gloria, Sharon, and Maxine, who have welcomed him into eternal
rest.
 Funeral services for Loren will take place Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the Black River Falls District One
Center at 12:00 p.m. Matt Mann will officiate. Friends and family are invited to visitation from 10:00 a.m. until
