A 32-year-old Madison woman is facing multiple charges after an alleged drunk driving incident on Interstate 90 in Monroe County. Wisconsin State Patrol says Alexis G. Troope was reported Wednesday afternoon driving slowly while appearing slumped over behind the wheel. Troopers located the vehicle near Tomah, where it left the interstate and entered a field. Troopers say the driver was not injured but showed signs of intoxication. Troope was arrested for fifth-offense operating while intoxicated and also faces charges of failing to install a required ignition interlock device, felony bail jumping, and a Department of Corrections probation hold. She was taken to a local hospital for a blood draw before being booked into the Monroe County Jail.
