Mark J. Glodowski, 60, of Arcadia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 27,
2026, at Mayo Clinic-St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, surrounded by the love of his
family.
Born on August 14, 1966, in Arcadia, Mark was the son of Joseph and Phyllis (Patzner)
Glodowski. He graduated from Arcadia High School and dedicated his life to farming
and small business ownership, taking great pride in serving his community and caring
for the land he called home.
On October 28, 1989, Mark married Lori Dubiel at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic
Church in Independence. Together they shared 36 years of marriage and were blessed
with two sons, Alex and Jacob. Mark's greatest joy was his family, and he especially
treasured the time spent outdoors with his boys, teaching them the values of hard work,
responsibility, and appreciation for the simple things in life.
A lifelong farmer, Mark found purpose and pride in caring for the land and the animals
entrusted to him. He was known for his strong work ethic, steady presence, and
willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. Whether working in the
fields, gathering with family, or sharing stories with friends while riding in his Kubota with
his beloved dog, Wanda, by his side, Mark left a lasting impression on all who knew
him. His quiet strength, sense of humor, and genuine kindness will be remembered by
many.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lori; his son, Alex (Ali), and their baby boy, Mark's first
grandson, who is expected to arrive any day; brothers, Roy (Jennifer), Darin (Kim), and
Damian (Becky) Glodowski; sisters, Renee (Andy) Rumpca, Julie (Dan) Murphy, and
Maria (Randy) Johnson; many beloved nieces and nephews; and countless friends and
neighbors who will miss him deeply.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Phyllis Glodowski, and his son,
Jacob Glodowski, in 2014.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Russell Rumpca for the many
ways he supported the farm during the past year. His kindness, friendship, and
dedication provided comfort and assistance that will never be forgotten.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at
Most Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Creek, with Father Kyle Laylan officiating.
Family and friends may gather for visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass
at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Family Catholic School in Arcadia.
