(West Bend, WI) — Tim Michels says he will not stop paroles in Wisconsin, but he is promising a much tougher approach. Michels, who is running for governor as a Republican, yesterday said his Parole Commission chief will end the goal of cutting the state’s prison population in half. Evers’ Parole Commission has released hundreds of killers and rapists, some of whom have committed new crimes and are back in prison.
