(Milwaukee, WI) — Milwaukee’s former diversity recruiter is getting 400 thousand-dollars to walk away from his discrimination claims. The city council yesterday reluctantly signed-off on the settlement. Royce Flowers Nash was hired in 2017, but was fired less than a year later. He sued Milwaukee last year claiming he was treated differently in the Department of Employee Relations because he is black. City leaders say they settled the case to save taxpayers from having to possibly pay Nash more.
