The Juneau County Sheriff’s Office along with the Wisconsin Crime Alert Network and the Wisconsin Department of Justice have released a missing endangered person alert.
On July 4, 2023 at approximately 2:00 pm, 43 year old Leya Marie Stewart is reported to have gone missing. According to the report, Leya was last seen on foot in the area of 43rd St and 19th Ave in Lemonweir Township.
Leya left her cell phone and shoes at the residence. Leya may have been under the influence of a controlled substance when last seen. A drone and ground searches have been done in the area but Leya hasn’t been located. Leya was reported to be wearing Black short and a dark colored tank top. She is not wearing her shoes. She has her Right ear pierced and has tattoos on her right shoulder and right thigh.
