The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Monroe County and the county Health Department invite residents to a community open house. It’s this Thursday from 11:00 to 2:00 in the parking lot of the department on West Oak Street in Sparta. Visitors can take part in free fall risk assessments, blood pressure checks, and car seat safety checks, while also learning about local health and support services. The Chow Haul food truck will be on-site with lunch available for purchase.
