As of 8:30 am, more than a thousand volunteers have signed up to join in the search for missing Winona woman, Madeline Kingsbury.

Kingsbury, 26, has been missing since the morning of March 31 when she was last seen at her home in Winona. Officials asked volunteers to sign up with the understanding that they will be walking long distances and in rough terrain.

There were two sign up times today, one at 9am and another at 1pm. The sign up location for the 1:00pm search is in Fillmore County at the Rushford-Peterson School, located at 1000 Pine Meadows Lane in Rushford.

Volunteers will be bussed to the search location and assigned an area to search. Officials expect the search to last at least four hours. Winona police are calling Kingsburys disappearance involuntary and suspicious. Volunteers will be asked for ID, to sign in and must be 18 or older to join the volunteer search teams.
