On Friday, June 21st, the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA), a nonprofit and accredited renewable energy training provider, will host an Industry Demo Day at their campus in Custer, Wisconsin. This event offers firsthand experience with tools and topics relevant to energy professionals and solar technicians, including live demonstrations of solar roof installations, design tools, and energy storage systems by industry leaders.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with leading industry names such as Unirac, Schletter, Victron Energy, and more, showcasing solar mounting products, techniques, and safety protocols. Workshops and product demonstrations on Energy Storage Systems (ESS), PV System Design tools, and financing solutions will also be featured.
As the clean energy industry evolves, so does the need for skilled professionals. Events like MREA’s Industry Demo Day spotlight the tools and knowledge crucial for success, aiming to inspire and empower both the current workforce and attract newcomers. Through hands-on demonstrations, networking, and workshops, the inclusive event fosters a vibrant community of energy professionals, meeting clean energy demands and decarbonization goals.

Continuing Education Credits are available, with information on career pathways and training provided by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) and MREA. The event aims to inspire those interested in clean energy careers while offering networking opportunities and valuable insights into the industry’s future.
Workshops, demonstrations, and exhibits will take place from 9:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. with an Industry Social featuring live music, Wisconsin snacks, and beverages taking place from 5 – 10 p.m. Industry Demo Day tickets are available at a discounted rate to groups of five or more, nonprofits, students, and educators.
