NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held in the Jackson County Courthouse, 307 Main Street, Black
River Falls, Wisconsin on September 15, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. on the following:
CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST #2025-34 as requested by John Knutson & Pamela Kleinert, on property
located in the NW1/4-NW1/4, Section 12, T21N, R04W, Town of Brockway, Jackson County, WI; 010-
0880.0000. The request is to operate a short-term rental in the B1(Central Business) District.
ZONE CHANGE PETITION #2025-35 as requested by Luke & Kaitlyn Moore, on property located in the
NE1/4-SE1/4, Section 35, T20N, R06W, Town of Franklin, Jackson County, WI; 018-0576.0005. The
request is to change 15 acres of the A1 (Agriculture) District to the R6(Residential-Rural Ag) District for
the construction of a single-family home.
CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST #2025-36 as requested by Kris Utke, on property located in the SW1/4-
NE1/4, Section 08, T20N, R01W, Town of Knapp, Jackson County, WI; 028-0113.0005. The request is to
operate a service & repair shop in the R2(Residential) District.
ZONE CHANGE PETITION #2025-37 as requested by Shaun & Carolyn Lescher, on property located in the
SW1/4-SW1/4, Section 20, T21N, R03W, Town of Brockway, Jackson County, WI; 010-0299.0015. The
request is to change 9.55 acres of the R4(Residential-Manufactured Home 2 ) District to the
R6(Residential-Rural Ag) District for the construction of a single-family home and future plans for
chickens.
The petitioner or their agent must attend the County’s Public Hearing.

This public hearing is being held so that the Committee may hear those persons who have an interest in the proposed
changes, and they will consider all input presented which will aid in their decision-making process. The decision of
the Committee to either grant, conditionally grant or to deny any conditional use or subdivision request will be
finalized at this public hearing. The Committee, following the public hearing, will make a recommendation to the full
County Board for their final decision to either grant, conditionally grant, or to deny any proposed zone changes.

A Notice of this Petition will be forwarded to the Town Board. The Town officials will discuss this request and return a

answer their questions. An effort has also been made to notify adjoining landowners of the proposal/s, so that they may
contact the Town Chairman for more information and/or voice their concerns. To ensure that those interested have been

TEXT AMENDMENT #2025-31 as requested by Jackson County Zoning Department. Jackson County
Chapter 16 Shoreland Zoning Ordinance requires amendments. These changes will bring the
ordinance into full compliance with Chapter NR 115 and Wisconsin Statutes Section 59.692. The
proposed text amendments can be viewed at the Jackson County Zoning Department or on the

TEXT AMENDMENT #2025-32 as requested by Jackson County Zoning Department. Jackson County
Chapter 18 Subdivision and Platting Ordinance amendments. The proposed text amendments can be

TEXT AMENDMENT #2025-33 as requested by Jackson County Zoning Department. Jackson County
Chapter 20 Floodplain Zoning Ordinance requires amendments. These changes will bring the
ordinance into full compliance with Chapter NR 116 and Wisconsin Statutes Section 87.30. The
