The Jackson County Board Chair is seeking letters of interest from qualified individuals for appointment to the elected position of Jackson County Clerk. The appointment will fill the remainder of the current term pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes Section 17.24.
The appointed individual will serve through December 31, 2028. The office will then be filled at the November 2028 Fall General Election.
Applicants must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Be a resident of Jackson County
Be a qualified elector under Wisconsin law
Letters of interest and a résumé must be submitted no later than March 11, 2026, to:

The appointment is subject to confirmation by the Jackson County Board of Supervisors at a public meeting on March 16, 2026.
