On March 3 rd , 2024, Nyla (Bock) Musser celebrated her 90 th birthday by hosting a fundraiser
event at Interfaith Volunteer’s. Nyla’s history with Interfaith Volunteers stems back from 1989
when Interfaith first began. Nyla has been a very active and dedicated member of the
community since she first arrived in Black River Falls with her husband, Lou, in June of 1960.
Nyla and Lou volunteered to do endless charitable deeds within the community. When asked
why Nyla chose Interfaith Volunteers to host her birthday celebration, Nyla simply replied that
she wanted to give back to the welcoming community and believed Interfaith Volunteers was the
perfect place to host it. Nyla’s 90 th Birthday Celebration Fundraiser was an eventful and beautiful
day with an overpouring amount of support from friends, family, and beloved community
members. Throughout the duration of the event, Nyla shared her gratitude with those who came
to celebrate her 90 th birthday. Interfaith Volunteers wanted to extend a special thank you to L&M
Catering and Nyla’s family for making this event happen.
Nyla supported Interfaith’s mission way back in 1989 and continues to support their mission.
