Odile was born on January 9, 1934 in Whitehall to Albert and Ruth (Dahl)
Toraason of Blair. She graduated from the Blair High School. While in school,
she played in a piano recital and was the captain of one of the high school
volleyball teams. After high school, Odile went to Downey, IL and completed

Odile and other retired nurses from the Tomah VA Medical Center would get
together the last Thursday of every month for lunch which was something she
always looked forward to.
Odile enjoyed knitting and made several Christmas stockings that have been
cherished and will continue to be. She had a laugh that would warm your heart.
Odile is survived by several cousins and many friends.
In addition to her parents, Odile was preceded in death by her brother, Gale
Toraason.
In honoring Odile’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. She also did not
want any cards being sent. If you would like to honor Odile, please make a
donation to the Childhood Leukemia Foundation, the Salvation Army or the
charity of your choice.
The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family with arrangements.
