Larry A Baker, 60 years of age, from Arkansaw, WI has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol
Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 5th offense.
On Thursday, May 9th, at approximately 10:28 PM, Troopers from the Northwest Region Eau Claire
Post stopped a Chevy Silverado pickup for unsafe lane deviation on Hwy 29 near CTH E. Upon
initial contact with the driver, Troopers noticed a heavy odor of intoxicants emitting from the vehicle.
The driver, Mr. Baker, admitted to consuming alcohol prior to driving. Troopers conducted field
sobriety tests with Mr. Baker, and he was subsequently arrested for operating a motor vehicle while
intoxicated, 5th offense. Mr. Baker was eventually turned over to the Dunn County jail.
“Pursuant to the direction of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6,
Trial Publicly, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is
presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.”
