On October 21, 2026, at approximately 9:41 p.m., Wisconsin State Patrol troopers from the DeForest Post responded to a single-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 39/90 near mile marker 182 in Rock County.
According to the State Patrol, the driver, identified as 47-year-old Pheap K. Pom of Madison, showed signs of impairment. Following an investigation, Pom was arrested for operating while intoxicated, fifth offense.
The charge is an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
