EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Sarah Hotovy, M.D., recently joined the Family Medicine Department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire. Dr. Hotovy will see patients at the Clairemont Clinic at 733 W. Clairemont Ave. She also will provide prenatal and labor and delivery care. Dr. Hotovy earned her medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She completed her residency at Mayo Clinic Family Medicine Residency in Eau Claire. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. Dr. Hotovy’s professional interests include geriatric medicine, maternity care, pediatric care, women’s health and various office procedures. “I believe in a collaborative approach to helping people meet their individualized health goals, knowing that having a trusted primary care provider makes people healthier,” Dr. Hotovy says. “I take great joy in caring for people of all ages, from newborn medicine to end-of-life care. I enjoy practicing broad-spectrum family medicine, including prenatal care, delivering babies, joint injections, skin procedures, gynecologic procedures and vasectomies.” In her spare time, Dr. Hotovy enjoys exploring nature by hiking, kayaking and snowshoeing with her husband and son, making music, and trying new recipes.
