The Pittsburgh Pirates walked off an 8-7 home win over the Brewers Wednesday night when Bryan Reynolds belted a bottom-of-the-9th home run. Milwaukee closer Devin Williams gave up a run for the first time since late May when he served up the fastball as Reynolds led off the inning. Pittsburgh beat the Brewers for the second straight night. Starter Freddy Peralta went the first three-and-two-thirds innings for Milwaukee giving up two runs. He hadn’t taken the mound in Major League Baseball for more than two months. Brandon Woodruff starts this afternoon’s (Thursday’s) game as the Brewers try to avoid a sweep and a fourth straight loss.
