(Beloit, WI) – Some residents in Beloit are assessing damage after a severe storm caused a bit of damage. W-K-O-W/T-V reports several homes lost power, but service has been restored according to Alliant Energy’s power outage map. Numerous branches are down and at least one very large tree was uprooted. The National Weather Service says Beloit was hit with straight line winds of about 55 miles per hour.
