The Powerball jackpot is climbing past the half-billion mark, with no grand prize winner from Monday night’s drawing. But two players in Wisconsin are celebrating $50,000 wins.
Winning tickets were sold at the Kwik Stop in Rio and the Walmart Supercenter in Mukwonago for the November 17th drawing. Both matched four of five numbers plus the Powerball.
This marks the third $50,000 winner sold in Wisconsin in just four days. Across the country, 14 winning tickets of $50,000 or more were sold for the drawing.
The Walmart and Kwik Stop locations both have histories of big lottery wins, including high-value scratch and jackpot tickets in recent years.
With no jackpot winner Monday, the next Powerball drawing on Wednesday is estimated at $593 million.
Powerball drawings take place Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m., with tickets sold until 9 p.m. Players have 180 days to claim prizes.
