(Madison, WI)  —  Three major statewide races top today’s (Tuesday’s) Wisconsin primary election ballots.

The Republican primary features former Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch and construction company executive Tim Michels, along with State Representative Tim Ramthun.

The winner of todays vote will meet incumbent Governor Tony Evers in November.

Former state senator Adam Jarchow, Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Tony, and attorney Karen Mueller are running in the Republican primary to face incumbent Attorney General Josh Kaul.  Current Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes’ principal opponents have dropped out and endorsed him, meaning the Democrat will likely face incumbent U-S Senator Ron Johnson for that office in the general election.
