This month marks the 30th anniversary of the iconic TV show FRIENDS, and the American Red Cross is inviting fans to celebrate by giving blood or platelets and helping patients in need.
With the busy holiday season ahead, the Red Cross is reminding eligible donors to make blood donation a priority. The organization especially encourages donations from those with type O blood and platelet donors. To thank those who donate, from November 18th to December 8th, all blood and platelet donors will receive two pairs of custom FRIENDS-themed socks, while supplies last.
In the spirit of FRIENDSgiving, donors can book appointments through the Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit RedCrossBlood.org, or call 1-800-RED-CROSS. Those who donate before November 17th will also receive a $10 e-gift card and be entered to win one of two $7,000 gift cards.
