Robert ‘Bob’ Odell Hoff, age 68, died Friday September 2, 2022, at Dove West nursing home in Eau Claire, WI.

Bob was born May 18, 1954, in Eau Claire to Gordon and Corrine (Cribitz) Hoff. He and his sister Doris were brought up, in the Northfield WI area, attending the Northfield Church and grade school. Married twice, Bob had two children, Jason and Alecia.

Bob was a hard worker, best known for his work at Koxlein Brother’s Lumber Co. Between his marriages, Bob received his GED and served his country by enlisting in the U.S. ARMY. It was there, that Bob work in the engineering corps, working on HVAC repairs for numerous units. Bob could fix anything. Upon his return to civilian life his focus remained in maintenance, and he took a position with the Alto Paper Mill located in Dallas TX. When he wasn’t working, Bob’s favorite pastime was getting out his metal detector and looking for buried treasures. Bob was a naturalist in many ways. He enjoyed both mushroom hunting and hunting deer with his bow. He was an avid motorcyclist having owned several over the years. He will be sadly missed. God bless our memories of Robert Hoff.

Surviving Robert are his children Jason (Paige) Hoff of Victoria MN., and Alecia Hoff; his grandchildren Kendall and Gage Hoff; his sister Doris (Daniel) Schuld of Galesville WI; his nephews Jeremy and Johnathon Schuld and many friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A ‘Celebration of Robert’s Life’ will be held Friday September 16, 2022. Friends may call on the family from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at the Schiefelbein Funeral Home, 13507 Seventh St., in Osseo WI. This will be followed by a short Memorial Service at 2:30 with Pastor Elden Simonson and Full Military Honors at 3:00 PM outside on the Funeral Home lawn. All are welcome.
